Fun Run 2014

Sugar Hill is working towards building a track for use by our students and community.  On October 31st, 2014 all of our students participated in a Fun Run to help raise money to build our track.  We are still calculating the earnings but we all had a fun time wearing our story book character costumes while running for our track.  Thanks to all of those who helped and supported our Fun Run! Stay tuned for pictures.....

Kilometer Kids Club

Ms.  Love's 4th grade class completed a marathon, 26.2 miles, in 11 weeks using 5 minutes of their recess time and 5 minutes following to walk/jog laps.  For completing the marathon each student received a Kilometer Kids t-shirt, water bottle, back pack and chik-fil-a sandwich card.
Congratulations Ms.  Love's class!

4th & 5th grade students will be receiving their FitnessGram reports for this year with their report card.  You can follow the link FitnessGram Report Explanation to help provide more details on why we do the FitnessGram and to understand the report.   The report is an informational tool for parents to see where their students physical fitness is at this point.  It can be used to determine if more or less physical activity is needed.
